SGP3 Qualifiers

Two SGP3 Qualifiers take place in Vastervik, Sweden today, as the best 250cc riders from around the World compete to try and qualify for the SGP3 Final,  which will take place at the Malilla Grand Prix venue on Friday.                                     

William Cairns and Cooper Rushen have travelled across to Sweden to represent Great Britain, with Rushen competing in the 1^st Semi Final and Cairns in Semi Final 2 on Wednesday evening.

The two British Riders, who were paired together in the FIM European 250cc Pairs in Slovenia 10 days ago , face opposition not only from Europe but riders from Australia and the USA.

The aim for the two British riders will be initially a top 8 finish which would put them into Friday’s SGP3 Final.
Whilst in Sweden for the SGP3 William and Cooper will also be competing in the 2^nd Round of the FIM European 250cc Pairs, which will take place on Sunday at the Motala track.
