British Youth Weekend Preview
Workington and Belle Vue host the second and third rounds of the 2026 British Youth Championship (500cc and 250cc classes) this weekend with 18 riders taking part across the two sections.
Today’s (Saturday) event at Workington takes place after the Comet’s Cab Direct Championship fixture with Plymouth, which has a 3pm start time, and then the Youth meeting with be integrated with a Development meeting at Belle Vue tomorrow (Sunday) starting at 1pm.
NDL riders Seth Norman and Harry Fletcher make their first appearance in 2026 after missing out on Round 1 at Glasgow last month, and they will be joined current series leader Stene Pijper, Ollie Binns and Charlie Southwick, who also compete in the NDL, as well as a number of unattached youth riders.
Archie Rolph, the leader in the 250cc class, competes again and will be hoping to extend his lead before a break in the series with the next round taking place at Leicester on July 4.
