In the light of Dan Bewley’s unfortunate end of the season injury, ironically, 2 British Riders have received a call from the FIM this week to replace Dan in 2 major Under 21 Finals coming up this month.
On the 15th Connor Mountain has been selected to compete in the FIM European Under 21 Final as one of the meeting reserves, which takes at Straslund Germany on Saturday night.
Then 13 days later on the 28th Zach Wajtknecht, will replace Bewley in the main event of the FIM World Under 21 Final which is at Pardubice in the Czech Republic on Friday night. The last round of 3 finals, an event that British Champion Robert Lambert will be going all out for at least a top 3 finish to claim another FIM Medal for a British Rider in 2018.
