Three members of the Bronze Winning GB Under 21 Team were in attendance at the Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club on Thursday night, Ellis Perks, Nathan Greaves and Connor Mountain along with GB Boss Neil Vatcher.
On a very entertaining evening where the GB Riders answered questions from the floor, it was very informative and some interesting views from each of the riders as they make their rise up the speedway ladder, about all aspects of being a speedway rider as well as racing, all the effort that each of them out put in behind the scenes, regards their diet, fitness, workshop activities, organising travel and much more.
Vatcher said that the NSSC have supported the Young Lions for a number of years now, and we are always delighted to be invited back to answer any questions.
On the back of the GB Team winning a Bronze Medal in the World Team Cup Final, the supporters who attended could see how much work goes on behind the scenes, when riders are not only riding 3 or 4 times a week, but also travelling across Europe on a regular basis.
Vatcher concluded by thanking everyone at the NSSC for their support, and look forward to coming back in early 2019 for their annual British Youth Speedway Awards evening.
Date of this event to be confirmed.
