2nd June 2017
The Great Britain team travel to Pocking in Germany on Saturday afternoon to compete in the Semi Final of the Under 21 World Team Cup.
2017 British Champion Robert Lambert captains the team, which also includes Adam Ellis and Josh Bates who won the European Pairs Semi Final in the Czech Republic last weekend, along with Dan Bewley and Ellis Perks who travels as reserve.
GB Youth Boss Neil Vatcher said, “this is always a real tough meeting, and GB have not had any success in this competition for over 10 years now, so that goes to show what type of event this meeting is.
We go there in positive sprits after our Pairs victory last weekend, and also Robert’s win in Sweden 2 weeks ago at the World Under 21 Individual Semi Final.
After saying that we know it will be a real tough meeting, as the very strong Australia Team along with home nation Germany are also competing.
We will give it our best shot and enjoy what is always a big occasion when representing your country.”
The GB Team would like to thank their Team Sponsors Direct Digital Controls Limited and Wessex Marine for their support, and also the continued backing of the BSPA.
