17th June 2015
Yet again the British Youth riders have been invited to compete in one of the prestige meetings of the season, the Premier League Fours at Peterborough on Sunday 2nd August.
This will be the 3rd BSPA shared event meeting that the British Youth Riders have been invited to, after already competing in the Elite League Riders, and the British Under 21 Final at Leicester and Coventry respectively.
The competing class will be riders in the 250cc class, and this certainly does seam to be a popular class for invitations. In addition to the Fours, this class has also been invited to compete at Mildenhall for the Bernie Klatt Memorial Trophy on Sunday 28th June.
It really is pleasing that clubs are now approaching us to showcase the talented Under 16s, and in these two events, seven different riders have been selected to ride in the two meetings, so plenty of talent is on show. We urge any other promoters who would like some 2nd half entertainment, to get in touch. The school summer holidays are fast approaching and we are all keen to go around the country to different venues to showcase the talent that is in this Championship across all four different classes, 500cc, 250cc, 150cc and 125cc.
Our thanks to both Ged Rathbone of Peterborough and Kevin Jolly of Mildenhall for the invitations.
