British Youth Championship 2023 – Round 1 – Postponed

Unfortunately, the opening meeting of the 2023 Championship was postponed due the weather.

The 2023 British Youth Championship gets underway for the 500cc and 250cc classes at Scunthorpe this evening, following the Scorpions Knockout Cup clash against the Birmingham Brummies.

The second half event will consist of 13 heats, including a winner takes all final for each class.

Sonny Springer joins National League teenagers Max Perry, Jody Scott and Ashton Boughen in the 500cc class and in the 250cc class 7 riders will be competing, including the 2022 British 250cc runner up Ashton Vale along with 4 riders, Cooper Rushen, Stene Pijper, Caydin Martin and Seth Norman who all step up from the 125cc class.

William Cairns and Jamie Etherington continue in the 250cc class hoping to make a rostrum place finish in this year’s Championship at least after missing out in 2022.
