British Under 19 Final draw

The draw for the 2023 British Under 19 Final, which takes place at Birmingham on Wednesday 28th June has been made and is as follows:

  7. Dan Thompson – Ipswich, Birmingham and Leicester Cubs
  8. Ace Pijper – Glasgow and Workington
  9. Vinnie Foord – Leicester Cubs
  10. Jody Scott – Oxford Chargers
  11. Elliott Kelly – Workington
  12. Sam McGurk – Workington
  13. Mickie Simpson – Unattached
  14. Harry McGurk – Workington
  15. Ashton Boughen – Leicester Cubs
  16. Freddy Hodder – Belle Vue Colts

British Youth boss Neil Vatcher commented ”The draw has already flagged up some really exciting heats, none more so than as early as heat 2 with a clash of the two Birmingham boys Dan and Joe Thompson,  as well as the 2022 British Under 19 Runner Up Jake Mulford and Glasgow up and rising star Ace Pijper.

Due to the age category of the previous winners there will be a new British Champion crowned on the night, so this is a really big occasion for all 16 competitors and a meeting that is bound to be full of exciting racing all the way through to heat 20.”
