12th August 2020
Young Lions management can now confirm the four riders who will be representing GB in the FIM European 125cc Gold Trophy, which is taking place at Plzen in the Czech Republic on Saturday 28th August.
William Cairns, Max Perry, Ace Pijper and Ben Trigger will be the representatives, and even though the four were selected prior to Sundays first British Youth Championship Round at Scunthorpe, three of the selected four were finalists at the Scunthorpe round.
Youth boss Neil Vatcher said, “this will be a massive learning experience for our boys as this will be an extremely tough meeting with the best boys at this level from all across Europe, but although it will be tough I know that each of them, William, Max, Ace and Ben will benefit from this fantastic experience and will come back to the UK stronger for the experience”.
