The Young Lions Under 21 Team will take part in a fixture against Mildenhall on Sunday 21st May with a 4pm start time.
Neil Vatcher said, “The Mildenhall promotion contacted me this week and although it is a particularly busy part of the season for me, as I am in Sweden the night before for the World Under 21 Semi Final, it was an opportunity that I felt we could not turn down, as I have been keen to try and get some Test Match fixtures organised for a couple of years now, and although this is a one-off fixture, you do not get many opportunities like these during the season to get together and race as a team.”
“Mildenhall are a strong National League Team, but for sure we will be putting together a strong team ourselves, and the Mildenhall boys will know that they will be in for a test.”
“The in-form Liam Carr will be leading the team, and I am hoping that 5 of the 7 riders will have come up through the British Youth Championship, which goes to show that the system we now have in place is working a treat.”
Young Lions would like to thank the Mildenhall promotion for this fantastic opportunity.
