The top three from last month’s British Under 21 Final; Robert Lambert, Adam Ellis and Josh Bates are all going out for individual glory this weekend as they all compete in the World Under 21 Semi Finals, Lambert and Ellis go to Eskilstuna in Sweden with Bates being the lone Brit in the Semi at Terrazano, Italy.
All three Brits qualified for last years World Finals, with Lambert ending up collecting the Bronze medal after the three round World Championship, so this year Lambert will be first aiming to qualify, then looking at going two places better than last year’s result by claiming the World Under 21 Title.
Both Ellis and Bates will being also going all out for qualification, as this will be their last shot at this title, as both riders turn 21 this year.
With three Semi Finals being held this weekend as there is also one in the Czech Republic where there are no British representatives, qualification is going to be difficult for all three British riders, and if Lambert, Ellis or Bates do qualify they will certainly earn their spot.
Young Lions Management wish all British Riders the very best of luck.
