Further dates and venues are still awaiting confirmation for further British Youth Championship rounds, as well as the British Under 21 Final and British Under 19 Final.
Dates for the Youth Championship round that have already been confirmed will be announced on Saturday evening , along with the draw for the British Under 21 Qualifier and the confirmation of the riders who will be seeded directly to the 2024 British Under 21 Final.
The 2024 British Youth Championship has had a fantastic response, with currently 44 riders registering to compete, including 21 riders in the 125cc class, 9 riders in the 250cc class and 14 riders in the 500cc class.
British Youth Boss Neil Vatcher commented “ We have had a tremendous response for this year’s championship, and it is brilliant to have such vast numbers, and it would be only fair to say outside of Poland I would be surprised if any other nation has such large numbers of youth riders registered.
We have an exciting three day training camp planned for Workington next month, where 7 times British Champion Scott Nicholls will be in attendance, along with former Great Britain rider and now ace mechanic Paul Hurry, and the legendary Steve Lawson, to train and coach the riders over the 2 track days. Former British Youth Champion Tom Brennan will be in attendance on the second track day.”
Along with the track days, there will also be one day of fitness work at the very impressive Xtreme Fitness gym in Workington, which will be led by James Luckman, who is a qualified personal trainer and runs the Papa Luckman Fitness Group.
There will be a classroom session on bike maintenance on the non track day, which will include a talk from Steve Lawson and the coaches, as well as James Luckman and personal trainer Lee Butterworth who will be talking about food and nutrition.
All places for the Training Camp have now been booked.
Young Lions would like to thank all the Clubs and British Youth Sponsors for their continued support in 2024.
