Young Lions Mâcon success

Eighteen young British riders have completed two days of pre-season practice in glorious weather at the French track of Mâcon.

With the season being just over a month away, the riders were on track between 12 and 15 times over the 2 days as part of their preparation to start the 2023 campaign. 

Organised by the Young Lions, the practice days saw a mixture of British Youth, Under 21 and Under 23 riders. 

Chris Harris was also in attendance to pass on some of his vast knowledge.

Young Lions boss Neil Vatcher commented: 

“We have had a great two days on a fantastic race track in glorious sunshine, and all 18 riders have gained something from attending.

We are all now looking forward to starting the 2023 season and the pre-season preparations could not have gone any better. Our thanks also to Chris Harris for his input over the 2 days.”
