SGP2 Wild Cards

GB Youth boss Neil Vatcher has expressed his disappointment after the announcement from the FIM of their Wild Card selections for the 2023 SGP2 series.

The FIM have selected Mathias Pollestad from Norway, Petr Chlupac from the Czech Republic and Slovenia Anze Grmek as the series Wild Cards, to be added to the 12 riders who qualified from the SGP2 qualifiers last Saturday.

Vatcher commented “We had every hope that the FIM would look favourably on the performances of the British Riders and in particular Anders Rowe who only just missed out on permanent qualification losing a runoff in his qualifier in Denmark and scoring a fantastic 11 points.”

Rowe has been named as the 2^nd place substitute for the series with Drew Kemp named as the 6^th substitute rider.
