29th February 2016
The Young Lions Management can announce today that the 2016 British 125cc Final will be held at Peterborough on Sunday 15th May, alongside Peterborough’s Premier League fixture versus Rye House.
Neil Vatcher said, “Peterborough is such a great venue, and is fairly central for most people to travel too, and after the success of hosting this final there in the last couple of seasons has now become the home of the 125cc Final.
When we first hosted this event at Peterborough, we were concerned that the the track was too big to host this final, but contrary to those thoughts, the racing their has been a credit to everyone who has been involved and I am sure this year will be no different”.
The format of the final will be confirmed nearer the time, once the number of entries have been confirmed.
So with another fixture added to the already busy season ahead for the British Youth Riders, it is all set to be an exciting season of British Youth Racing.
Our thanks goes to the Peterborough Promotion for agreeing to host the event, and to the BSPA for supporting it, along with all our series sponsors; Mitas Tyres, Wessex Marine, Friends of Speedway, NSSC, Meridian Lifts, Rentruck, PBHS, Duck Smart, Speedway Nut, KanDysoft and Trend Creative.
