Coventry and Leicester mascot Joe Thompson defends his 125cc British Title at Berwick on Saturday where the top 8 riders from the 125cc class compete for a British Title.
With only the top 8 riders competing, this is sure to be a fierce competition with every one of the 8 qualifying heats hard to call.
Jordan Palin who finished 6th in the FIM Gold Trophy at Torun back in May will be hoping to be one of the front runners, along with the returning from injury Harry McGurk and Joe Thompson’s twin brother Dan.
Neil Vatcher said, “any one of the 8 riders can make the final, and then it is who ever holds their nerve to win what will be a fascinating one off winner takes all final, I for one cant wait!
Our thanks to all our series sponsors for their support in 2016, the continued support of the BSPA, and the Berwick promotion for agreeing to host the event.
I will urge all Berwick supporters to come out on Saturday night to give their support to what is the future of British Speedway”.
