It was a tough weekend for both Leon Flint and Kyle Bickley who were competing in the 250cc FIM European Semi Final in Grinstead Denmark. Competing against the best riders from across Europe aged between 13 and 17 years old Flint 13 and Bickley 14 both endured a tough afternoon.
Flint just missed out on a place in the final by losing a run off for the final place after scoring 7 points in the Semi Final, and Bickley who had a big crash in his 1st ride, managed 5 points from his remaining rides and just missed out on qualification.
Even though both Young Lions did not have the most successful of weekends the experience will be advantageous to them both as they will be competing in the FIM World 250s along with fellow British Youth Rider Kean Dicken in Poland at the end of July.
