FIM European 250cc Championship
The biggest week of their young lives for three of the top British 250cc Riders is coming up this next week.
Current British 250cc Champion Luke Harrison, Max James and Ace Pijper have made the 2000 mile round trip to Torun in Poland, to compete in Fridays FIM European 250cc Championship.
The European Competition consists of 2 Semi Finals taking place on Friday afternoon, with Harrison in Semi Final 1 and James and Pijper competing in the 2nd Semi Final, later in the day.

Neil Vatcher explained that the three British boys main aim on Friday will be to score enough points to qualify for the European Final, which takes place at the same venue on Saturday afternoon, and by then be dialled in to the track and have the right set up to put in a challenge to compete for a medal in the final.
Vatcher who has witnessed this competition in previous years, commented
“The boys from all over Europe competing on the 250ccs are a huge talent, and even though we have sent out our top 3, this will be a massive learning curve for all 3 of them and a fantastic experience.
As well as that have the opportunity to race and compete in one of the best speedway stadiums in the world.”
After this weekend’s event the same 3 boys Luke, Max and Ace will make their way back to Cloppenburg in the North of Germany to represent GB in the FIM World 250cc Championship, where the Semi Final will take place on Friday 23rd July and the Final of that competition the next day on the 24th also at the Cloppenburg venue.
