Young Lions Management are delighted to announce that the one-off 125cc British Final will be held at Peterborough on Sunday 28th June.
We would like to thank Ged Rathbone and Trevor Swales from Peterborough for agreeing to host this British Final for the 2nd consecutive season.
Young Lions boss Neil Vatcher said, “when we took this event to Peterborough last season, everyone was surprised how fast these young British riders go on their 125cc machines and if this years Final is anywhere near as exciting as 2014, then we are all in for an entertaining afternoon”.
The final will consist of 12 riders having 4 rides each, and the top 4 scorers after each rider has completed 4 races will contest the winner all takes final.
The British Final will be run before Peterborough’s Premier League fixture against Plymouth, in addition to these 2 events there will also be a Midland Development Fixture after Peterborough’s Premier League Fixture, so a feast of speedway not to be missed for all British speedway fans.
The 12 rider line up will be confirmed after the 3rd round of the Mitas British Youth Championship at Leicester on Sunday 7th June.
The One Off 150cc British Final will be held later in the season, at a venue and date yet to be confirmed.
