15th October 2017
Young Lions can now confirm that the British 125cc Final will be held at the National Speedway Stadium, Belle Vue on Friday 20th October after the Belle Vue Colts fixture against Mildenhall.
The 125cc Final which is a one off event, will consist of 8 riders who have competed in the support races of this years British Youth Championship.
There will be some fierce competition, none more so than the McGurk Brothers Harry and Sam who have won an incredible 6 out of the 7 rounds that have been hosted across the country this year, and to make that stat even more interesting they have both won 3 rounds each.
Although the McGurk brothers will be most people’s favourites for a British Title, the other 6 competitors should not be ruled out, as Corban Pavitt won a round earlier this year relegating the McGurk boys to 2nd and 3rd on the podium.
Anyone who has witnessed a round this year would have been impressed with a number of riders in this class, and the likes of Luke Harrison, Archie Freeman and Elliot Kelly will not be competing on Friday night just to make the numbers up.
So for the last meeting of the year for the British Youth Championship, again this is one to look forward too.
Young Lions Management would like to thank the Belle Vue Promotion for agreeing to host this event.
