British Youth Championship Results
Ben Trigger and Luke Harrison clinched their respective 500cc and 250 cc British Championship titles at the Leicester round of the 2021 British Youth Championship yesterday.

The newly crowned British Champions completed an impressive 5th Round with another victory in each class and with the 6th and final round taking place at Plymouth next month, both British Champions will be determined to do a clean sweep in this year’s Championship.

Although the Championship for the 500cc and 250cc classes has been decided with a round to go, there is still multiple outcomes to be decided at Plymouth in the 125cc Championship with just 2 points separating Stene Pijper and Cooper Rushen and in the same group just one point separates Jamie Etherington and Oliver Bovingdon in the race for the Bronze medal.
With Harrison being crowned the British 250cc Champion for the 2nd consecutive year, the race for the rostrum places in this class is still wide open with 4 riders still competing for the Silver and bronze medals with Max James looking likely to claim silver, but still some work to be done, then just behind Max there are just 3 points splitting Sonny Springer, Ace Pijper and Jody Scott in the race for a either a silver or bronze medal.
So still lots to be decided at the final round, which takes place at Plymouth on Saturday 18th September.
