2018 Under 19 British Final Preview

15th May 2018

A new British Champion will be crowned on Thursday night as Ipswich host the staging of the 2018 British Under 19 Final.

Belle Vue and Workington star Dan Bewley will be the red hot favourite to claim the top prize, but in a Championship that is run over the traditional 20 heat formula anything can happen.

Glasgow and Kent’s Jack Thomas will be hoping to repeat his success at the top of the rostrum after winning the British Under 21 Semi Final at Birmingham last month, and there are a number of locally based riders who have experience of the Ipswich track who will be putting that knowledge to the test.

Unfortunately due to a number of injuries over the last week there has been a few changes to the original line up.

Mildenhall’s Matt Marson and Stoke’s William O’Keefe replace the injured Mildenhall duo Jordan Jenkins and Sam Bebee.

Also included in the 16 are 4 current or previous British Youth Champions, so with Kyle Bickley, Tom Brennan, Leon Flint and Drew Kemp trying to add another British Title to their CV it is sure to be an exciting evening.
