22nd January 2017

The 2017 British Under 21 Semi Final will be held at Peterborough on Tuesday 11th April.

A delighted GB Youth Boss Neil  Vatcher said, “what a fantastic venue to hold such a prestige event, as 16 of  GB’s brightest talents will be battling it out to qualify for this years all important British Under 21 Final, which is being held at the end of April, date and venue to be confirmed”.

Vatcher also said, “this is a meeting that is bound to cause a lot of interest around the Peterborough area as there will be a lot of local talent on display”.

Ipswich will be represented by Connor Mountain (also Mildenhall) and Danyon Hume (also Birmingham), Kings Lynn will have Josh Bailey, Danny Phillips and Ryan Kinsley in attendance, and riders invited from the Lakeside and Kent clubs will be Zach Wajknecht, Nathan Stoneman and Jack Thomas, along with Premiership League riders James Shanes, Nathan Greaves and Ellis Perks.

So the list of riders above is just a tasted of the calibre of riders who will be competing, and  that is not including teenage sensations Jack Parkinson Blackburn and Jack Smith.
