10th September 2015
All roads lead to Berwick this Saturday for the 2015 British Under 19 Final kindly sponsored by Perryman’s Buses and supported by the Speedway Riders Association.
GB Youth Boss Neil Vatcher quoted, “this British Final is a great opportunity for British Speedway fans to see the next generation of British Riders, as this British Final is shared at different tracks from one year to the next, and this season being the turn of Berwick, who have been keen to host this event for a number of years.
The local fans will have plenty of local talent to cheer, as Berwick’s own asset Liam Carr will be amongst one of the favourites on his home track, along with regular Berwick riders Luke Ruddick and young Kieran Douglas who takes up the first reserve position and at some point during the evening sure to get at least one outing.
The other front runners are expected to be Premier League riders Josh Bates and Max Clegg.
This will also be a great experience for a couple of the younger competitors, such as Jack Parkinson who recently won the Midland Development League Championship, and Workington Junior David Morgan, who is looking for a NL Team place in 2016, so an opportunity to put himself in the shop window.
All we need now is the weather to be kind to us Saturday evening, and it’s sure to be an eventful night of British Speedway.”
Our thanks to Perryman’s Buses, the SRA, and the BSPA for supporting this Event.
