Robert Lambert who has won the British Under 21 and the European Under 19 Titles in 2017 added the European Under 21 to his impressive CV in Daugavpils Latvia on Saturday night with another sensational performance.
Lambert scored an impressive 14 points to clinch the the title in his 5th ride as this Championship was run on the traditional format over 20 heats.
Britain’s Dan Bewley had a tough evening after getting a warning from the Polish Referee for moving at the start in his 1st race, Bewley found it hard to make a start after that, and although was on the pace, couldn’t quite make a good enough start to get in front in what was such a tough Meeting, although it is an event where Bewley will learn plenty and come back stronger in the next competition.
So yet another great night for British Speedway in 2017, and now the interest moves to Prague in the Czech Republic to support the 3 British Riders competing in the FIM World 250cc Championship on Tuesday
