20th October 2015
The newly crowned British 250cc Champion Tom Brennan who won the British Title at Round 5 at Rye House back in September will be getting presented with his awards at Eastbourne this coming Saturday 24th October, during the KO Cup Final between Eastbourne and Cradley.
Neil Vatcher said, “unfortunately Tom was unable to attend the 6th and final round at Northside 7 days after winning his British Title, so of course was not able to collect his winning trophy.
There will be a presentation to Tom during the interval on Saturday, and he is sure to get a rapturous applause from the Eastbourne public, as it is expected that Tom will become an Eagle at some point next season when he will become eligible to ride National League.
This will be Tom’s 3rd different British Championship winning trophy after previously winning both the 125cc and 150cc titles, a fantastic achievement for the 14 year old, who is sure to have a big part to play in the future success of not only Eastbourne but also British Speedway”.
