Celebration of Speedway & Training Camp
All six 2024 British Youth Champions will appear at the annual ‘Celebration of Speedway’ event in Coventry later this month.
Staged by British Youth sponsors Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club, the event takes place at the Brandon Club on Saturday January 18 (7pm).
British Under-21 Champion Sam Hagon, Under-19 winner Ace Pijper and Youth champions William Cairns (500cc), Cooper Rushen (250cc), Oliver Bovingdon (125cc) and Charlie Fletcher (125cc support) will all be in attendance.
The event is hosted by BSN’s Ian Brannan and will include presentations, Q&As and raffle along with a look ahead to 2025 with British Youth chief Neil Vatcher. Any riders’ families and sponsors of the British Youth are welcome to attend, with funds being raised to support the British Youth riders for the upcoming season.
Youth Camp at Workington

IPSWICH newcomer Tom Brennan will be passing on his expertise to British Youth racers at a special pre-season training camp next month.
Brennan, who was part of the victorious Great Britain squad in last year’s FIM Speedway of Nations, will be at Workington on February 17-18 to advise the stars of tomorrow as they go through their paces.
The two-day camp at the GT Tyres Arena will see riders on track on both days, along with a classroom session to take place on the evening of February 17.
The Young Lions have thanked their series sponsors ahead of another busy year of action: Nuneaton Speedway Supporters Club, Wessex Marine, Rentruck of Rochdale, AGF Plant Ltd, Friends of Speedway, Northern Scaffolding Solutions, Brian Royle, Ignite Insurance Brokers Ltd and in Memory of Speedway Nut.
