British Youth 250cc Preview: Belle Vue

A very strong line-up will be on track for the third round of the 250cc British Youth Championship at Belle Vue today (Sunday) following the Colts’ NDL fixture with Middlesbrough.

Casper Kluczniak, who has won both rounds at Leicester and Kent earlier this season goes, into this event hoping to extend his lead at the top of the current standings.

Kluczniak currently has an eight-point lead over Ollie Binns in second, and a further 11-point advantage over Archie Rolph and Oli Bovingdon in joint third.

Incredibly Seth Norman in fifth place is yet to lose a race that he has completed, although he has suffered from a number of disqualifications and or bike issues and that has affected his current position.

Ten riders will be competing today which includes the top five already mentioned as well as Emerson Betty, Kayden Mundy, Jayden Bailey, Liam Morris and Finley Theobald.

With ten riders competing, and to include a Final for the top four scorers, there will be an additional 11 heats in this second half event, as well as the NDL fixture.

The next round for the 250cc class is at Redcar on the August 30, which will also include the 125cc class at this round.

The Young Lions would like to thank the Belle Vue promotion for their continued support of British Youth Speedway as well as their series sponsors.
