British U19 Final, Workington – Preview

Workington will have the stars of the future on show today (Saturday, 1pm) when they stage the 2025 British Under-19 Final.

Ace Pijper defends the title he won at Oxford last year, with tough competition likely against an array of riders with regular senior experience this season.

Luke Harrison, Will Cairns, Ben Trigger, Freddy Hodder, Max Perry, Jody Scott, Jordy Loftus and Comets racer Vinnie Foord have all been involved in the Cab Direct Championship this year along with Pijper.

Home hopes rest with Foord, who said: “I should have a bit of an advantage being on my home track, but it is a track that a lot of riders turn up to and like, so it’s a hard one.”

The meeting is sponsored by local family-run business Ben Hodgson Cars.
