Celebration of Speedway at the NSSC

The Young Lions continue their build-up to the new season with a special celebration event hosted by long-time sponsors the Nuneaton Speedway Supporters’ Club this Saturday (February 11).

Key announcements will be made during the evening including the dates and venues for the 2023 British Youth Championship, the line-up for the British Under-21 Qualifier at Workington in May and the riders who will be directly seeded to the British U21 Final, which takes place at Glasgow in August.

The event will be compered by Ian Brannan from The British Speedway Network, and will include interviews with 2022 British Under-21 and Under 19 Champion Leon Flint and British Youth Champions Sam McGurk (500cc), Luke Harrison (250cc) and Cooper Rushen (125cc) who will all be in attendance, along with other British Youth riders.

A special speedway raffle will be taking place, whilst photographer Jeff Davies will also be capturing the special moments from the evening.

There are still places available for all supporters interested in the future of British Speedway, to come along and join in on this special evening and celebrate all the good work of the Young Lions.
