The Young Lions Management can confirm the 4 GB Riders who will be participating in this year’s World Under 21 Individual Semi Finals.
With 4 places available, one at each of the Semi Final in Rawicz Poland and Liberec Czech Republic, and 2 places in Vetlanda Sweden GB Youth Boss Neil Vatcher has selected 4 riders all who compete at the highest level of British Speedway.
It will be no surprise that both Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley have been selected, with the 2016 World Under 21 Bronze medalist and double European Champion Lambert choosing to go to Poland, the 2017 European Under 21 Finalist Bewley going to Sweden.
Wolverhampton’s Nathan Greaves will also go to Sweden and Swindon and Lakeside 2017 British Under 19 Champion Zach Wajknecht is going to the Czech Republic.
Vatcher said, “I have been watching all the riders form during the season, and of course I would be lying if I said that Lambert and Bewley were not always going to get a pick.
Regards both Zach and Nathan I have been impressed with both riders during the Under 21 British Semi Finals, and although Zach didn’t have the best British Final he has had some major scalps already this season riding for Swindon, and I believe these 4 guys would be the top 4 on current form, and because they all ride in the Premiership, they know how hard they have to be to race against the best riders in the World.”
All 3 semi finals take place on Saturday 16th June.
If anyone would like to sponsor any of the 4 riders with tyres for the event, each riders can use 3 tyres per Semi Final, then please contact Neil Vatcher by email at email@example.com
