Another farewell, and another great afternoon for the British Youth riders who competed at Wolverhampton on Sunday.

If the first two events of 2017 are anything to go by, then the class of 250cc is going to be amazing to watch this year, with so many talented young British riders in this class.

Nathan Ablitt who blitzed the 150cc class in 2016, has now moved up to 250cc, and at yesterday’s first competitive rides in his new class, it looks as if he will continue to be challenging for another British Title.

Along with Jason Edwards who was the Runner Up in the 250cc class in 2016, again will be a major threat this year, not forgetting Leon Flint and the impressive Jordan Palin.

Harry McGurk again showed that he will be the favourite for the 2017 125cc British Title with another two wins, after his two wins at Glasgow seven days before.

Each rider had some valuable track time with two heats each, and it was another great occasion.

Next stop now is the 500cc riders as they compete at both Workington next Saturday and King’s Lynn on Sunday.
