Report

The 250cc demonstration races at Poole on Wednesday evening had a significant outlook  to how the Mitas British Youth Championship will pan out come the conclusion of the Championship in September.

The two favourites for this year’s championship in the 250cc class Sussex based Tom Brennan and Kyle Bickley from Cumbria both won two races each in this four race competition, and not only won the races but all four races had very quick times.

Our thanks go to the Poole promotion for not only allowing us to showcase the British Talent during their Elite League fixture with Leicester, but  for actually running two of the races during the main event after heat 10.

Another great night for the British Youth Riders, in what can only be descried as great experience not only for the two winners Brennan and Bickley, but also Kean Dicken and Chad Wirtzfeld, who although did not get amongst the first two positions, will have all enjoyed riding at a great venue and also in front of a large and appreciative crowd.

As well as the Poole promotion, are thanks also go to Dave Adams from our very loyal sponsors Wessex Marine of Poole, for supplying trophies and sponsorship to each of the riders for riding in this event.

All focus now on to Round 3 of the Mitas British Youth Championship a week on Sunday at Leicester, where it looks as if it will be the biggest attendance of riders ever to ride in a British Youth Championship, more information on round 3 next week, watch this Space!
