Following on from top scoring for the Great Britain team in their World Cup Under 21 Semi Final last weekend, Lakeside and Birmingham star rider Adam Ellis heads out to Denmark this Saturday to compete in his biggest meeting of his short career, the FIM European Under 21 Final.
Adam qualified for this event by getting the Runners Up spot in his Semi Final back in June, and goes in to this weekend in good form, in both Domestic and International meetings.
GB Youth Boss, Neil Vatcher, said, “the timing of this European Final has come at the right time for Adam as he has just hit a rich vein of form, and no reason why he can not go in to this final looking at achieving at least a rostrum place.
Of course these Finals are all tough meeting but I don’t see any reason why Adam can not be right among the mix of the top runners”, continued Vatcher.
These events are great experiences for these young riders, and as it is with Stefan Nielson competing in the World Rounds of the Under 21s, the riders learn so much from racing against the best of their age group, and it is an education every time they go out on track.
Adam would like to thank Wessex Marine from Poole for the sponsorship of the tyres for this event, and both the BSPA and SCB for their continued support.
