DATES and venues have been confirmed for seven rounds of the 2024 British Youth Championship.

An amended schedule for the British Youth Championship has been announced in order to avoid clashes with other sporting events.

The series will now get underway at Workington on Saturday May 11, whose Youth round will be split into two sections with July 27 remaining on the calendar.

The date for Leicester’s round has been confirmed for Saturday August 31, whilst dates for Redcar and Scunthorpe are to be finalised, along with the classes for meetings at Plymouth and Birmingham.

The Young Lions can now also confirm that the 2024 Women’s Open Championship will be competed over one round this season, and this will take place also at Leicester on Saturday 31st August. Riders who would like to compete in the 2024 Women’s Open Championship are asked to send an email to – neil@scbgb.co.uk to register their interest.

2024 BRITISH YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP:

All classes (500cc, 250cc and 125cc) will be involved in the meetings at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leicester.

Workington: Saturday May 11 + Saturday July 27

Plymouth: Saturday June 1

Edinburgh: Saturday June 15

Glasgow Sunday June 16

Birmingham: Monday July 15

Redcar: Friday 26th July (Following the NDL Fixture) for 500cc and 125cc Support classes

Belle Vue: Friday August 2 + Friday August 30

Redcar: Friday 23rd August (Following the Championship Fixture) for 250cc and 125cc A Class

Leicester: Saturday August 31
