The riders to compete in the 2020 FIM European Under 19 Qualifier which takes place at Pardubice in the Czech Republic on the 14th August have now been confirmed.
Young Lions boss Neil Vatcher, explained obviously after having a quiet season for most of the time this year, the last few weeks have been hectic organising which riders will be competing in FIM events which are taking place next month.
The European Under 19s which again this year takes place at Pardubice for the qualifier and the Final in Zarnovica Slovakia two days after the Pardubice qualifier, GB have been allocated four places.
Vatcher said, as previously stated there are a number of quality Under 21 riders that we are keen to give European experience, so this competition is a fantastic opportunity for these boys.
Without any season in the UK to date, Vatcher has no current form to base the pick of riders from, so the four picked for this qualifier are the top three from the British Under 19 Final in 2019, which is Drew Kemp, Jason Edwards and Anders Rowe.
The fourth allocation has been given to Tom Brennan, who unfortunately missed most of the 2019 season with a broken leg, but has pedigree in this event having qualified for the final in 2018.
Young Lions are appealing if any sponsors would like to help the riders with the purchase of tyres for these events, then to send an email to – firstname.lastname@example.org
