Young Lions can now confirm 7 of the 8 staging venues for the 2016 Mitas British Youth Championship, with the 8th venue being confirmed early next week.
Out of the 7 confirmed venues, 4 dates have been arranged with more updates to follow when they are confirmed in the near future.
We are delighted to be able to stage Round 1 at the brand new National Speedway Stadium at Belle Vue Manchester on Sunday 17th April.
Scunthorpe will also be staging a new format for the Championship, as they will stage Part 1 of Round 2, which will consist of the 500cc and 150cc classes as a 2nd half event to their Premier League fixture on Monday 2nd May.
Part 2 of Round 2 which will consist of the 250cc and 125cc classes will also follow their Premier League fixture on Monday 30th May.
Rye House will stage a Round on Sunday 26th June
Leicester will host their Round on Sunday 24th July
2 tracks that have held rounds in recent years Eastbourne and Redcar again will host a Round, along with a new venue for this generation of Youth Riders, Kings Lynn will also stage a Round.
Dates for these 3 venues are still to be confirmed.
The 8th and final venue is expected to be confirmed early next week.
Along with the dates and venues for the Mitas British Youth Championship, we are now also delighted to confirm, that a Youth Training day will be held at Buxton on Tuesday 29th March which is Easter Tuesday.
We’re also delighted that we are able to showcase the British Talent by having 13 riders compete at this years Ben Fund Meeting which is at Kings Lynn on Saturday 12th March. Also another first, with the help of Team Bomber, we are arranging a Team Bomber versus Team British Youth which will consist of 6 riders on each team to compete against each other prior to Bombers Testimonial being held at Coventry on Sunday 20th March.
