The Young Lions will host two British Under 21 Semi Finals in April, at Eastbourne on Saturday 7th April and Newcastle the next day Sunday 8th.
Neil Vatcher said, “in previous seasons we really only had enough quality riders to run one Semi Final, but now there is so much young talent coming through we genuinely will have two strong line ups for both Semi Finals.
I am a great believer in the underdog, and running both these Semi Finals will give the likes of the current British Youth Champions Drew Kemp and Leon Flint chance to mix it with the best of the Under 21 boys”.
Vatcher continued, “prior to confirming with both clubs, I did a dummy line up of both Semis Finals, and the strength of both them was unbelievable.
Before the line ups are confirmed, I will wait for the fixtures for those days to be released, so there will hopefully be no clashes”.
GBs top two Under 21s Robert Lambert and Dan Bewley will be seeded direct to the Final, so that will leave an exciting top seven from each Semi Final will qualify, so no room for error.
The Young Lions would like to thank the promotion of both Eastbourne and Newcastle for agreeing to host these prestige events.
